Luis Valdez - Early Works

First published in 1971, this anthology contains ten of the huelga "actos" performed on the picket lines and marches throughout California. This book covers the history of El Teatro Campesino from our early involvement with the United Farmworkers Union as exemplified in Dos Caras del Patroncito to our anti-war efforts as presented in Soldado Razo. Other selections include Los Vendidos and La Conquista de Mexico, an acto for puppets.
